Goldmills Recruitment are seeking a permanent full time Junior Sous Chef in Billericay, Essex. This fine dinning restaurant offers first class, freshly cooked food from contemporary menus with a traditional influence for Lunch, Dinner and Afternoon Tea. The Restaurant is open for diners Wednesday to Sunday
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Chef De Partie. As avital member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for running your section and contributing to the delivery of exceptional dining experiences.This role is perfect for a motivated chef looking to enhance their skills in adynamic and fast-paced kitchen.

· Our Private Dining Room is open Wednesday to Sunday for Weddings/Wakes/Special Occasions and Events
· Additional overtime is available
Key Responsibilities
· Support kitchen leadership in daily operations and service.
· Ensure high-quality preparation of dishes while maintaining consistency.
· Oversee sections of the kitchen and step in for the Sous Chef when needed.
· Maintain hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards.
· Monitor ingredients, order supplies, and minimize waste.
· Ensure smooth service and efficient kitchen operations.
· Check dishes for taste, presentation, and portioning before service.
